The buildings are painted in tones of yellow, red and ocher and stand out contrasting from the azure sky. The painting is framed with a white wooden ledger. Talgat Zamaleev (b 1959) studied at the Vera Mukhina Higher School of Art and Design in St. Petersburg till 1985. The oil painting is signed lower right in Cyrillic. On the reverse it is inscribed in Cyrillic 'Square of Five Corners' and annotated with the measurements ‘70 x 80’. The painting is in very good condition. It measures 70 x 80 cm.
