        PALAIS PAVILLONS ET JARDINS CONSTRUITS PAR GIUSEPPE CASTIGLIONE DANS LE DOMAINE IMPERIAL DU YUAN MING YUAN AU PALAIS D'ETE DE PEKIN Suite complète de vingt planches modernes imprimées (retirages numériques) sur papier vélin et mises en couleurs / aquarellées. Les planches originales furent réalisées par Giuseppe Castiglione (1688-1766) dit Lang Shining entre 1783 et 1786. Elles donnent à voir les édifices et les jardins du Palais d'été (Yuan Ming Yuan) de Pékin commandés par l'Empereur Qianlong. Il s'agit ici d'une colorisation originale - procédant d'un véritable travail de réflexion et de recréation - réalisée à partir de reproductions de la publication des Jardins de Flore en 1977. Sous les coups de pinceau de l'artiste les édifices du Palais d'été semblent reprendre vie.
