    Cynthia Young (United States, 1933 - 2015) framed and single matted abstract watercolor, having a wooden frame measuring 37-5/8" in height with width of 29-3/8", with a sight image measurement of 28-3/4" in height with 21" in width. All measurements are approximate. Cynthia Young, born May 20, 1933, graduated with a B.A. in Art History from the Connecticut College for Women in 1955, and with a Masters of Fine Arts from George Washington University. Her work has been exhibited across the Washington DC area, including Touchstone, Ozmosis, Foundry and City Galleries, Delaplaine Visual Arts Center and the McLean Project for the Arts. Her paintings, inspired by natural forms, spirituality and myth, and the Abstract Expressionists of the late forties and fifties, are held in public and private collections around the country. She died in her Virginia home at the age of 82 on August 23, 2015.
