Notes:various sizes, ranging from 3.5 x 5 inches to 7.5 x 11 inches. Three of the works are inscribed "Chase of the Greek Pirate" on reverse. Charles Yard contributed landscapes, mostly in watercolour, to the RHA and the Royal Society of British Artists from an address in Great Brunswick Street, Dublin, and later from Hampstead Road, London. (See Strickland, Vol.II, p. 567).
