Yagües, Pepe (José) Ícaro en Lunas. Mit 40 signierten Original-Aquatinten. 2022. Dimensions of the box: 59 x 79 x 5 cm. - One of five numbered copies. - Contains 25 large-format aquatints (sheet dimensions approx. 72 x 51 cm each) and 15 smaller ones (25.5 x 14 cm). The artist's book represents a dialogue between the work of the Murcian Yagües and the book of poems "Perito en Lunas" by the poet Miguel Hernández from Orihuela. The etchings are based on the poet's mythological-erotic verses, in which numerous figures from Greek-Latin antiquity appear, such as Leda, Venus, Siringa, Phaethon, Jupiter, Pan or Europa and the moon, as the moon is the element that appears most frequently in the entire production of the poet from Orihuela. Some of the graphics are decorated with metal applications in relief. - The mostly midnight blue aquatints extremely vibrant and rich in colour. Rare object from a very small edition. * Dieses Werk ist regelbesteuert.
