SU Xiaobai (b. 1949) SU Xiaobai is a German-Chinese artist who fuses traditional Chinese art with modern and contemporary art of the West in his works, creating abstract, atmospheric paintings by adding layers of oil paint and lacquer on canvas. The combination is reminiscent of works by Mark Rothko and Gerhard Richter. SU Xiaobai is an artist and student of the famous modern ‘Düsseldorfer Schule’, especially of Jörg Immendorf and Georg Baselitz. He had well known exhibitions in Germany, organized by ZDF Mainz and the Langen Foundation in 2009-2010. Shipping costs excl. statutory VAT and plus 2,5% (+VAT) shipping insurance.
