    GEORGE WUNDER (1912-1987) The Night Before Christmas. Publisher's proof sheet for the comics adaptation of the Clement C. Moore poem, "The Night Before Christmas," originally published in newspapers across the country in December, 1941. 610x457 mm; 24x18 inches. This is a beautifully rendered interpretation of the perennial Christmas poem, and may well be the only surviving example of this proof. Condition: Has tattering, minially detracts from image.
