Stanley Marc Wright (Vermont, New Jersey, 1911 - 1996)
Studied at School Fine Art, Pratt Institute, graduated in 1933, Jerry Farnsworth School Art, Tiffany Foundation fellowship in 1935.
Member of Salmagundi Club, Audubon Artists, International Institute Arts & Letters, Northern Vermont Artists (director, 1951), Vermont Council Arts, Montclair AA, New Hope AA, Provincetown AA.
Served in U.S. Army and earned Bronze Star, 1942-44. Moved to Stowe, VT in 1949 and opened Wright School Art. His preferred media are oils, watercolors, acrylics.
He was teaching head portrait & landscape at Newark School of Fine Arts during 1944-50. He was an instructor portrait & landscape and director at Wright School Art, Stowe VT during 1950's.
Lecturer, demonstrator & instructor painting at many organizations.
