Lebbeus Woods (1940-2012) The American architect and artist studied architecture at the University of Illinois and at the Purdue University and then initially worked in the offices of the Finnish architect Eero Saarinen. But from 1976 on Woods only dealt with architectural experiments and theory of architecture, for which he founded his own research institute to promote experimental architecture in 1988. Moreover Lebbeus Woods was Professor of Architecture at the Cooper Union in New York. The Light Pavilion in Chengdu in China is his only realized project. Condition: The set of 6 serigraphs in colors is in overall very good condition. The cardboard portfolio displays a label on the cover board as well as slight signs of use.
