    28" high, signed. Wingate studied with Alexander Archipenko. She was a member of the Federation of Modern Painters and Sculptors and the National Association of Women Artists. She exhibited from the 1930s-70s, and her work is in the collections of the National Museum of Stockholm, Ghent Museum (Belgium), Syracuse University, and the Parrish Museum (Southampton).
