    Der lesende Bauer mit Fellhut. Kupferstich nach Adriaen Brouwer. 13,4 x 13,2 cm. Hollstein 13. Ganz ausgezeichneter Druck mit einzelnen Wischkritzeln, mit sehr feinem Rändchen um die Plattenkante. Leichte diagonale Knickspur rechts, schwache Gebrauchsspuren, verso in den Ecken montierungsbedingt dünne Stellen, sonst sehr gut erhalten.

    WAUMANS, COENRAET (UMKREIS) (1619 Antwerpen um 1673) Grisaille: Pan mit zwei Satyrn. Öl auf Holz. 19,7 x 13,6 cm. Provenienz: Europäische Privatsammlung. Die Komposition dieses Gemäldes mit einem Pan und zwei Satyrn findet sich spiegelverkehrt in einem Stich von Coenraet Waumans wiederholt (siehe Hollstein, Friedrich Wilhelm (Hg.): Hollstein's Dutch and Flemish etchings, engravings and wooodcuts: ca. 1450-1700, Rotterdam 1949-2010, Nr. 22, S. 125). Möglicherweise diente unser Gemälde als Vorlage. CIRCLE OF WAUMANS, COENRAET (1619 Antwerp c.1673) Grisaille: Pan with two satyrs. Oil on panel. 19.7 x 13.6 cm.
