                Est: £300 - £400

Thatcher (Margaret) Typed letter signed ('Margaret Thatcher') to Miss Watson and Miss Brett, mentioning a long interview she had with a daughter and her father about a doctor who had not taken due care with her mother who died after suffering a stroke. Thatcher writes "I can well understand that Miss Roads was very distressed: but alas there is little I can do about the action of the doctor, I myself not having seen the case and therefore not being in a position to say that he was wrong. I have advised Miss Roads to write to the National Health Executive Council about the matter. I stressed that I was not unsympathetic, but just rather helpless in a case like this", one page, mailing folds, 4to, House of Commons, 18 June 1971.
