After her death in 1993, The Museums at Hartwick College founded "The Warren Gallery" for changing exhibits in the museum. A lecturer, juror and art teacher, she was on the staff off the Albany Institute of History and Art, Albany, NY for seventeen years and the co- founder of The Palm Tree School of Art, Sarasota, FL and The Malden Bridge School of Art, Malden Bridge, NY. A portrait painter, known for her colorist paintings of peoples from Greece, to Mexico and New Mexico, she held over thirty five one person exhibits in museums and galleries. Her formal portraits hang in The University of Wisconsin, Supreme Court of the State of New York, Hall of the Governors, NY, State University of NY, General Electric, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and may other public and private collections. Her last formal Commission in 1991 was of Hugh Carey for the State of New York.

        Extensive portfolio of the portrait artist Betty Warren (Jones and Herzog); daughter of cartoonist and illustrator Jack A. Warren. Over (35) works of various media and subject matter, including charcoal and pastel portrait studies, watercolor illustrations and landscapes, sketches and cartoons in pencil, pen & ink, and more. Many pieces signed. Also included: one portrait of the artist by a contemporary, signed George Campbell and apparently titled "Bouncing Betty Warren". Most works appear to date from the 1940's-1950's. Dimensions: (Largest) H 25.5" x W 19" Condition: Showing various signs of wear; many pieces in need of restoration or conservation, with tears and losses to edges, creases, foxing and spots of soiling, age toning, and other handling wear.
