    Tusche auf festem, chamoisfarbenem Papier, auf schwarzen Karton kaschiert. (19)06. Ca. 24,5 x 17,5 cm. Monogrammiert und datiert unten links. Leicht gebräunt, teils sehr schwache rosafarbene Farbspuren. Unten links leicht gebräunt und oberflächig berieben. Mittig am linken Rand mit Einriss, ca. 3 cm in die Darstellung reichend. Unterlagekarton an den Kanten bestoßen und mit Knickspuren. Sonst in guter Erhaltung. Taxation: differenzbesteuert (VAT: Margin Scheme)

The colourfulness of the flowers is also found in the vase in which they stand, which is decorated with floral ornaments. Isolated pale discolourations along the margins. At the upper corners residues of an old adhesive. The paper is slightly wavy in places due to the medium.

Leipzig, Nachfolger Hermann Seemann, 1901. -- Grautoff S. 137. – Berühmte graphische Folge aus der Hochblüte des Jugendstils und des Variétés, von Grautoff als gehaltvoll und amüsant gerühmt. Die originellen, humorvollen und teilweise erotischen Bilder Vrieslanders zeigen Les Goulons, Lilly Peters, The 2 Blackpipers, Wanda, Willranowsky, John und Jack, Mimi Lilli Cilli, Ruler and Dina, Sigrid Larsson, The Brushes, Wu Pei Lo und Les Soninis. Der Graphiker Hans Zarth (1879-1957) entwarf zunächst Möbel, Teppiche und Stoffe, bevor er sich um 1900 der Buchillustration zuwandte und kurz darauf Kandinskys Künstlergruppe Phalanx beitrat. – Titel etwas gebräunt.
