Measures: 225 x 140 x 130 cm. Luis Vidal is one of the Spanish artists with greater international projection. His work, of high social commitment, revolves around controversial issues, focusing on issues of social denunciation and confronting us with the many inequalities and injustices, both economic and social, that prevail in the society in which we live. Luis Vidal moves with ease in the fields of sculpture, installation, leather engraving and drawing. He also circulates his work in the most prestigious museums and galleries internationally. Among his most relevant projects was "Euroafricans" (2007), which consisted in the production of a new "currency" by the different local communities. The banknotes produced (60000 "Euroafricans") were auctioned at the Center for Contemporary Culture in Barcelona, raising 60000€, which were subsequently invested in the community. Other of his projects denounce the mistreatment of women or the inequality of the world's wealth. Throughout his extensive career, Vidal has exhibited at the La Caixa Collection in Barcelona, the Bass Museum of Art in Miami Beach, the Elgiz Museum of Contemporary Art in Istanbul, the Arp Museum in Remagen (Germany), the Vestfossen Kunst Labotatorium Collection in Oslo, at the National Gallery of Georgetown in Grand Cayman, at the Vila Casas Private Foundation in Barcelona, at the Yves Klein Foundation in Arizona, at the Museum of Modern Art in Girona, at the Museum Pfalzgalerie Kaiserslauten in Germany and at the Bergen Kunstforening in Berden (Germany).
