    Title is Near Tucson. 17 3/4" by 21 7/8" framed. Bernard (Bernie) Vetter (Born 1940) is active/lives in Texas. Bernard Vetter is known for Landscape with figure, still life paintings. Bernard Vetter graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso and has been a professional artist since 1972. He uses a dry brush technique to paint realistic watercolors of Southwestern and wildlife/sporting subjects, including fly-fishing scenes. In his oil paintings he specializes in Southwestern landscapes, typical of Southeastern Arizona, New Mexico and West Texas. Vetter's paintings are a part of a number of collections including the Favell Museum in Klamath Falls, Oregon; the Pabst Collection in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and the Miller Collection in Ft. Worth, Texas as well as many private collections. In 1994 his work became part of the acquisition of the Huthsteiner Fine Arts Trust.
