Yuri Ustinov Art for Sale and Sold Prices

Yuri Ustinov is one of the leading contemporary theatre artists in Russia. In 1980-1988 he worked as a stage director at the Opera and Ballet Theatre in Yekaterinburg. In the following years Yustinov collaborated with Boris Eifman, the influential Russian choreographer, in ballet productions for the Bolshoi Theatre. Ustinov also works in the film industry as an art director. He was amongst the creators of the momentous “Master and Margaret” film in the late 1980s, based on the famous novel by Mikhail Bulgakov. In 2009, Ustinov was awarded a “TEFI,” the main television prize in Russia, as the best art director.
