UrbanMedium Art for Sale and Sold Prices

UrbanMedium is a contemporary artist, illustrator, and designer best known by street art aficionados for his iconic “CheTrooper” sticker, an amalgam of two of the most iconic images of the last half-century. Heavily influenced by hip-hop, graffiti, politics, and pop-culture, UrbanMedium best describes his work style as “Culture Jamming”.

UrbanMedium’s creative endeavors began in 2001, slapping up thousands of hand-printed black and white illustrated stickers across Los Angeles. Leaving stacks of stickers in public spaces where others could take and share them, shortly thereafter his art began appearing in locations as far as Tokyo and Sydney.

UrbanMedium’s guerrilla self-marketing campaign has evolved into a prolific art career, with solo and group gallery shows in Asia, Europe, and the United States. The demand for UrbanMedium’s art and illustrations has grown, with small runs of hand crafted artist busts, screen prints, and paintings selling out online and shipping to art collectors worldwide. His art has been published in a variety of magazines, websites, newspapers and books, including Juxtapoz, Wallpaper, Computer Arts Projects, FHM, Maxim, Clutter, The New York Times, and many more.

UrbanMedium has collaborated with a host of brands, including 1800, Adidas, Atlantic Records, Boost Mobile, CW Network, NFL, Orange, Pepsi Co., Warner Brothers, and others. Most notably working with DKE and Lucasfilm Ltd. On “The Vader Project” a world-touring exhibition featuring 100 Darth Vader Helmets re-imagined by today’s most prolific artists.

UrbanMedium currently runs a studio in Atlanta where he’s producing a new body of artwork entitled “Art & State”.
