Uprka“ (špatně čitelné), zn. vtlačeně „KS Bechyně“ a „178 F“. Stav B. MOTHER. Bohemia, Bechyně, Keramická akciová společnost v Bechyni n. L., 1920 - 1940 (design 1905). Ceramic statue of a woman in the folk costume of Blatnice with a child in her arms and little girl hiding behind her rock. Glazed, colorful overglaze painting. H. 52,5 cm. Signed on the plinth „F.     FRANTA ÚPRKA (1868 - 1929) THE ANGELUS 1912, Bohemia (Prague) Statue of a man, praying the noon Angelus, has a life-sized sandstone iteration, which is located on the author's tomb in Kněždub. Franta Úprka worked mostly in Prague, unlike his brother, Jóža Úprka, a painter. Some of his most significant works here include the sculptures of A Bagpiper and an Undine on the western facade of the Municipal House or a allegory of the four seasons on the face of Švehla's College. Bronze cast in sand form. Unsigned.
