    A Solemn Procession signed twice Anna Milo Upjohn, l.l. - - oil on canvas 30 1/4 x 34 1/8 in. (77 x 86.7 cm.) Born in Dover, New Jersey, Anna Milo Upjohn studied abroad and worked with the American Red Cross during World War I. While with the Red Cross, Upjohn documented children's lives from various European countries. These images of children enhanced her international reputation as an artist and she is now traditionally known for these poignant portrayals.
