Representative of the Viennese avant-garde, non-objective painting and Kinetism, close to international Constructivism. From 1921 at the Vienna School of Applied Arts with Carl Witzmann, Franz Čižek, Reinhold Klaus and Eugen Gustav Steinhof. Interested in theater and revue sets, created textile designs for the Backhausen company and photomontages for the Thonet company. Stage and costume designs for a theater in Munich and the Lucerne Festival in Switzerland. Involvement with Expressionism, Cubism and Futurism, with aspects of movement, dance, dynamics and change.
