Beata Twardowska born 1974 in Czestochowa.
I started creating my first works while in high school, while studying at PLSP J. Malczewski in Czestochowa, I graduated in the field of artistic ceramics.
Then I graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts, J. Dlugosz Academy in 1999 in Czestochowa. I received a diploma in graphic design in the studio of prof. Zdzislaw Zmudzinski.
The culmination of this was the individual poster exhibition at the Czestochowa Town Hall.

In high school and student times, I was passionate about workshop graphics, I did a lot of linocuts, as well as artistic photography, which still fascinates me and which I often try to use in my paintings.

After studying, I dealt with graphic design and computer graphics for many years. I worked on comprehensive service for graphic companies, dealing with advertising posters, creating catalogs, folders, websites, as well as press advertising. In the meantime, I created pneumatic advertising projects, I designed playgrounds, castles and slides for children.

After more than ten years break from painting, I returned to easel painting. My collection of "Venetian masks" was exhibited in a gallery in South Carolina (USA). Many of them remained there.
I exhibited masks in Czestochowa in two atmospheric cafes - Corso and Mithos.

In 2013, a series of monochrome images combined with a drawing was created. The collection entitled "contrasts" consisted of paintings on the architectural theme, the old streets of Italian towns and views from beloved Krakow. The paintings were monochrome, combining painting, drawing and photography. Black and white paintings, in some I added colorful accents. Quite sparingly added color, at some times it softens the sharp combinations of black and white.
The "Contrasts" collection was shown at an individual exhibition in the Conductor House in Czestochowa.

From the beginning of 2018, I returned again to the colorful Venetian masks, which are always a grateful topic for me. The Philharmonic itself had a large share in this, which offered me an individual exhibition, the opening of which took place in December 2019.
It was a great pleasure for me to return to the wide palette of colors and subjects that are grateful, light and decorative. Pretty feminine.
These were intended to be these images. Decorative, positive expression, filled with colors, reflecting the atmosphere of the Venetian carnival, that's why the theme of the exhibition is CARNIVAL COLORS.
