Condition Report: Framed: 46 x 66cm Time staining and foxing. Scattered small brown spots and speckles and dirty marks throughout, please see images. There is a strip of discolouration along the left edge. The colours in the sky are possibly a little faded. Not viewed out of glazed frame.

Sichtmaße 48,5 x 60,5 cm. Unter Glas und in vergoldetem Stuckrahmen (unegöffnet). Das Blatt zeigt Bonaparte zu Pferd, mit dem Mantel, den er in der Schlacht von Marengo trug. Hinter ihm steht General Lasne und rechts ein junger Mamlukenführer, der Bonaparte nach Ägypten begleitet hat. Des Weitern sind die Generäle Durocq und Berthier und im Hintergrund den Hof der Tuilerien zu erkennen. - Vereinzelt etwas sporfleckig. Braunflecken im oberen rechten Rand. Kl. Einriss im rechten weißen Rand. Insgesamt wohl erhalten. Coloured aquatint on paper. Under glass and in a gilt stucco frame (unopened). - The sheet shows Bonaparte on horseback, wearing the coat he wore in the battle of Marengo. Behind him is General Lasne and on the right a young Mamluk leader who accompanied him to Egypt. Furthermore the generals Durocq and Berthier can be seen and in the background the courtyard of the Tuileries. - Some foxing. Brown spots at upper right margin. Small tear in the right white margin. Altogether well preserved. *
