    GARRY TRUDEAU

    Est: $400 - $600

GARRY TRUDEAU (b. 1948) American cartoonist, creator of the sharp-witted satirical strip "Doonesbury". A collection of eleven A.L.S.s, nine 8vo. and two 4to., all signed variously "Garry Trudeau", "Garry", or "G." Most are correspondence between Trudeau and publisher Herb Yellin of Lord John Press, discussing the publication of a limited edition book based on Trudeau's political cabaret show, "Rapmaster Ronnie". Also included is correspondence regarding the contract for the book, and a typed note from Yellin requesting Trudeau's social security number, which Trudeau added in pen and then sent back to Yellin. Additionally, the collection includes a program for the Los Angeles production of "Rapmaster Ronnie", a bingo card for the show, and a news letter for the theatrical company responsible for the production. Very good.
