    Stuart Tresilian (1891-1974) ▴ Stuart Tresilian (1891-1974) 'Gnawing Animals I'; 'Gnawing Animals II'; 'Amphibious Animals'; 'Snakes'; 'Insect Eating Animals'; 'Flesh Eaters' a set of six educational illustrations of animals, each signed 'S.Tresilian' and inscribed as titled, bodycolour 55 x 44.5cm and smaller, unframed (6) The illustrations were used to create a series of educational posters published by Macmillan in the 1950s and 1960s. Condition Report: Time staining with foxing starting to emerge in places. The edges of the boards are dog-earred with marks where tape has been previously applied, please see images.
