        Original color woodblock print Japan, 19th to 20th century These eight Japanese color woodblock prints include a very fine print from the 1920s by Tomita Keisen (1879-1936) of the Buddhist deity Fudoo and the monk Mongaku repenting at a waterfall as well as a significantly older print from around 1800 by an unknown artist showing a host entertaining his guests at his home. The remaining prints show kabuki actors; sword masters; schoolchildren at their lunch break; two women and a man in a small boat; and people visiting shrines. Dimensions: SMALLEST SIZE 16.8 x 25.7 CM, LARGEST SIZE 45 x 28.5 CM Condition: Overall good condition; mostly fresh colors, minor creases and small tears around the edges Provenance: Galerie Zacke archive
