4 ¾" x 6 3/8" gelatin silver print on textured paper. An early example of Japanese art photography. This print came from a group of images by Tominaga, of which several were printed on printing out paper. This paper was only used in Japan from the late 1890's to around 1908, so this vintage toned gelatin silver print could be dated around 1908. Signed by the artist verso.
