        Wil Timpe (American, B. 1920) Cowboys With Wagon, Western Scene In Primary Hues, Oil On Board. Signed lower right. Reverse marked "W.E. Timpe 1008 Shenandoah St. Los Angeles, Ca." Wil Timpe was a student of the Jepson Art Institute, Kahn Institute, and Choinard Art Institute. He worked as a magazine illustrator on The East Coast before moving to California. There, he began painting the Horses and Western scenes (such as this piece) that he is best known for. Please note that piece is attached to matting with tape, and is not glued. As matted approximately 18.0H x 14.0W in. Sight approximately 11.0H x 9.0W in.
