      RUTH TAYLOR WHITE (1899-?) HAWAII / THE TRAVELERS' TREASURE ISLANDS. Circa 1950s. 27 3/4x21 1/2 inches, 70 1/2x54 1/2 cm. Advertiser Publishing Co., Honolulu. Condition B+ / B: repaired tear through right margin; abrasions, creases, restoration and minor overpainting in image. This image first appeared in 1935 as an 11x8 inch supplement to the Honolulu Star Bulletin, with the image stopping at the orange border, and the cartouche reading "Summer Fun in Hawaii." It has also appeared in a smaller format with the caption, "Territory of Hawaii." White visited Hawaii in the early 1930s and created a series of maps in comic-pictorial style.
