    Elizabeth Taylor's (Louella Parson) "Malice in Wonderland" Two-Piece Black Crepe Suit W/COA - This suit was worn by Elizabeth Taylor, during filming for the 1985 television movie "Malice in Wonderland", in which she portrayed "Louella Parson". The black two piece crepe suit has white beaded lattice plackets and white mother of pearl buttons down the center. The ensemble was worn during of the filming of the scene near the end of the movie when Louella Parson confronts Hedda Hopper, portrayed by Jane Alexander. The movie is based on the 1972 novel, "Hedda and Louella: A Dual Biography of Hedda Hopper and Louella Parsons," by George Eells, and tells the stories of powerful Hollywood gossip columnists Hedda Hopper and Louella Parsons, once friends and later rivals. The film was nominated for four Emmy Awards, including one for Outstanding Costume Design for a Limited Series or a Special. Pair of fine content letters on her personal letterhead but signed with facsimile signatures, the first 1p. 4to., June 9, 2005 to playwright Edward Albee: "...Congratulations on receiving the Theater Hall of Fame Award...I will cherish the experience of 'Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?' forever...". The second letter, 1p. 4to., June 10, 2002 was sent to theatrical costume designer Florence Klotz: "...Darling Flossie, You're the best, the funniest, the most talented. If only you could have controlled my boobs when I ran. I love you and I miss you...". With a photo which also bears a printed signature. Three pieces. Taylor's health increasingly worsened in these years, and she almost exclusively signed her letters electronically.

Front cover is signed in ballpoint six others, including Terry Moore, Myrna Hansen, Jane Powell, and Tom Drake. Some light foxing to inside front cover, mild handling wear and creasing to covers, otherwise fine condition. Taylor was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress, her first nomination. The film was also nominated for Best Art Direction-Set Decoration, Best Costume Design, and Best Music, Scoring. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
