Anna Szprynger Sold at Auction Prices

Anna Szprynger is a Polish visual artist who was born in 1982. Several works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Bez tytulu' sold at Rempex Auctions 'Auction' in 2017.

"When she started living in the seaside resort and walking on the beach every single day, the idiomatic landscape burst into her artistic world and has stayed there ever since. In no way is the experience obviously transferred directly to canvas, but it is strongly noticeable. Horizontal canvas stretchers and forms inspired by rain or other seaside spectacles of nature started to prevail. All this, however, has been meticulously transformed into the language of short lines typical of this painter. The impression is that they are, in a metaphorical sense, confronted with the horizon, the strongest line in the seaside landscape. This is to the least extent outdoor painting, and most definitely analytical work, intended for attentive individual contemplation.” – a description of the artist’s work by Boguslaw Deptula, curator of the exhibition.

Anna Szprynger (born 1982) graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts at the Faculty of Arts of the Maria Sklodowska-Curie University in Lublin. She obtained a diploma with honours under the academic supervision of Prof. Grzegorz Dobieslaw Mazurek and Prof. Tomasz Zawadzki.
