Klaus Süß Art for Sale at Auction

Klaus Süß was a member of the gallery "Clara Mosch" from 1978 to 1982. In 1984 he was accepted as a candidate in the Association of Visual Artists of the GDR, since 1986 he works as a freelance artist in Chemnitz. Since 1984 he has been intensively involved with the artistic technique of the lost cut. He is now one of the most productive and well-known woodcutters in Germany after World War II. In addition to the graphics, there is an extensive painterly, graphic and sculptural oeuvre that can be found in public spaces as well as in private and public collections. Characteristic of Klaus Süß are powerful, mostly brightly colored graphics with expressive human figures.
