Deborah Sudran Art for Sale and Sold Prices

DEBORAH SUDRAN

My paintings express a strong emotional response to nature, and my fascination with its varied patterns and colors. Each paintings moves in close to a particular image andisolates it from its surroundings so that a horizon line is not seen.

My interest is less in the subject matter itself than in the abstract underpinnings provided

by the forms I seek out with my camera, particularly the especially dramatic compositions I see in tropical and desert images. Although I use photographs as references, color, form and scale art adjusted to serve the goal of creating a bold, original statement.
