        Sudbrack, Eli (AVAF): Studio 54

        Est: €400 - €600

Studio 54. Color silkscreen on thick, glossy card. 226 x 65 cm (image); 242 x 108 cm (paper). The project "Assume Vivid Astro Focus" (AVAF) was formed in New York City in 2001 by Eli Sudbrack and Christophe Hamaide-Pierson. AVAF fuses drawing, sculpture, video and performance into carnevalesque installations in which gender, politics and cultural topics flow freely. In frequent collaborations with musicians, designers and other artists, AVAF challenges conventional assumptions about authorship and the role of the artist's persona in the contemporary art world. Their works have been exhibited in galleries, museums, biennials, alternative venues and public spaces including; MoMA, New York; MOCA, Los Angeles; Tate Liverpool; MOT, Tokyo and Kunsthalle Wien Project Space Vienna. A fine impression in vibrant colours. Framed. Without the CD and the certificate.
