    HENRY STUBBLE (BRITISH, 1770-1802), WATERCOLOR C. 1802, H 2.5", L 2", "GENERAL WILLIAM SPRY" :A watercolor titled "General William Spry, R.E." by listed British artist Henry Stubble. This rare piece depicts British army office William Spry circa 1802. In 1770, General Spry purchased some land in Nova Scotia and established the settlement still known as Spryfield. Frame measures H 5.25" x L 4.5". Encased in glass in a black wood panel.
