"...Trading Pass", 1 / 50. "Navajos Weaving with Wool", 1 / 50. The image sizes are approximately 7.25" x 9.25", one painted frame is approximately 21.25" x 17.25" and the three matching oak frames are 21.625" x 17.625". All are in good used condition and the lot weighs about 17 pounds.

        Four OSCAR STROBEL signed artist proof prints. No COA. All are pencil signed, titled and artist proof is written on the mat. The names are Pacific Port, Mississippi Run, Mississippi Headwaters & Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer. The smallest piece has an image size of 6.5" x 9.25", frame 13.75" x 16", the other three pieces have an approximate image size of 7.5" x 9.25" frames 14.75" x 16". All the prints are in good condition, some wear to the frames. The lot weighs about 11 pounds.

        HUCK FINN AND THE GOLDEN EAGLE BY OSCAR STROBEL (AMERICAN, 1891-1967). Watercolor on paper, signed lower right. View of Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer fishing from the banks of the Mississippi, with the Golden Eagle on the water. Matted and framed, 22"h. 26"w. Strobel was born in Cincinnati and studied under Frank Duveneck, and he later studied in New York under Robert Henri. He lived most of his life in Arizona and California painting western scenes and murals. Numerous views of Tom and Huck on the banks of the Mississippi have been produced for illustrations, postcards, etc. The riverboat seen here is the Golden Eagle, the last packet boat on the Mississippi, at Hannibal, Missouri.
