Polish artist Franz Stiasny, (1881-1941) is best known for his bronze portraits of famous composers and artists. Featured composers in this collection include; Haydn, Wagner, Schubert, and Strauss. Schubert's medallion is mounted on marble and another is marked "Boston". This instant collection would be lovely mounted on a wall in a library or den.
