Alan Stammers Art for Sale and Sold Prices

Alan Stammers grew up with the sight and sound of motor racing, the family farm bordering Snetterton Circuit in Norfolk. His talent as an artist was to be greatly influenced by his love of motor sport.

His work in this area, now spanning 40 years, has been endorsed by many of the greatest names in motor sport.

Recent subject matter has become more varied and in 2003 three of Alan's drawings were used exclusively to commemorate the end of Supersonic flight by Concorde; commissioned by British Airways, 500 prints of each drawing were produced and signed by the artist and by the last Chief Concorde Pilot, Mike Bannister.

An edition of prints have also been produced of Valentino Rossi on the single occassion the number seven Helmet design was worn in tribute to British bike legend Barry Sheene following his death in 2003.
