    DESCRIPTION: Do Your Christmas Shopping Early. C. Clyde Squires (American, 1883-1970). Oil on canvas. Signed lower left. A young boy looks into a store display of Christmas toys, executed in black and white. In modern frame. Squires was a charter member of the society of Illustrators and a frequent contributor of material to Life, Collier's Harper's, The Ladies Home Journal, and a number of books. MEASUREMENTS: 18" high x 24" wide; frame 1" wide.
