      General Sir George Stuart White, V.C. ephemera China Plates (2), approx. 223mm and 200mm. dia, each bearing the transfer printed portrait bust of Lieutenant-General Sir George White, V.C., etc.; Original artwork by Harold Speed (1872-1957) for the “Queen and Country” Christmas Card sent by Lady White during the Siege - depicts a Gordon Highlander shaking hands with Britannia, with regimental crest; full length portrait photograph of the General in uniform wearing insignia, by W. & D. Downey, London, dated in ink, ‘Gibraltar 3.05’; an uncommon head and shoulders photographic portrait of a young Sir George in civilian dress, on card; an unusual and interesting portrait photograph of three V.C. winning Field Marshals, wearing full insignia - Sir Evelyn Wood, Sir George White and Lord Roberts, by Swaine, New Bond Street; photograph, mounted on card, of ‘Warlock’, ‘Charger on which Major-General Symons was shot at Dundee on 23rd October 1899, now in possession of General Sir George White, V.C.’; sepia photograph by Alfred Ellis and Walery of Baker Street, showing the procession of Sir George White’s funeral cortege in London, with crowds to either side (28 June 1912), mounted on card; “Ladysmith March”, printed music sheets by Ezra Rad, bearing a colour portrait of Sir George; Historical Manuscripts Commission National Register of Archives, Sir George White mss., generally good condition (10)
