    Francis Howard Spear, British 1902-1979 - "Old Vic Company- John Irvine as Touchstone"; lithograph, signed, titled and dated 1938 in pencil, 47x32.5cm (may be subject to Droit de Suite) Note: Francis Howard Spear was a printmaker and a stained glass artist. He attended the LCC School of Arts and Crafts specialising in stained glass and won a National Scholarship to the Royal College of Art in 1923 where he studied with Edward Bawden and Eric Ravilious. The V&A holds an example of his coloured lithographic print entitled 'Horse Race'.
