Conservation was still near to his heart, and Ned Smith prints were produced in a series for the Game Commission's Working Together for Wildlife project in Pennsylvania.

In the 1970s, lithographs by Ned Smith appeared in a series, and he often used oil and acrylics to produce vibrant prints of nature scenes.
