Blaise Smith Art for Sale and Sold Prices

Blaise Smith was born in 1967. He attended NCAD. In 1999 he completed “Roadworks”, a set of twenty four paintings depicting the men and machines of Cork County Council for their Centenary. The following year he painted ten paintings for Kilkenny County Council entitled “The Millenium Landscape”. He has won many awards and been selected in numerous juried exhibitions notably the RHA Annual in Dublin and the BP Portrait Award at the National Portrait Gallery, London. He has had eight solo shows in the Molesworth Gallery, Dublin. He was elected an Associate Member of the Royal Hibernian Academy in 2012 and completed another major Commission of 20 paintings entitled SCHOOLWORK which was exhibited in VISUAL, Carlow and The Crawford Gallery, Cork in 2013. He is married with two children and lives in County Kilkenny.
