Published by VTsPO, Moscow, 1918. 69 x 52.5 cm. Nina Simonovich studied in Paris, and later in Moscow, under Valentin Serov; she later published a book of reminiscences about her teacher. She is remembered primarily a the stage artist and as the organizer of a shadow and puppet theater that she ran from 1918 to 1940 She also illustrated children’s books.
