Sickboy is the name of a street artist from Bristol, UK, known for his temple logo and his 'Save the Youth' slogan. Sickboy moved to London in 2007 and his street art became prevalent particularly in the East End boroughs of Shoreditch and Tower Hamlets. It is claimed Sickboy was one of the first UK graffiti artists to use a logo instead of a 'tag'.

Sickboy originally trained in fine art and, as well as painting graffiti on the street, he also paints on canvas and exhibits conventionally in art galleries. He has been painting street art since circa 1995. In recent years Sickboy has become known for painting his 'temple' logo on wheelie bins, which can then be worth up to £50,000

Né à Bristol, il a étudié les arts plastiques et se dit influencé par Picasso, Hundertwasser ou encore par des architectes comme Gaudí. A côté de son activité dans la rue, il a toujours peint sur toile et exposé dans les galeries. Avant de déménager à Londres il y a quelques années, Sickboy était (comme Banksy à un moment) l'un des piliers de la scène de Bristol. Dès son arrivée dans la capitale, de nombreux observateurs l'ont remarqué et il a rapidement gravi les échelons du mouvement Street Art britannique grâce à ses toiles pleines d'humour. Sa griffe est une étiquette portantle slogan « Save the Youth » ainsi que l'image multipliée d'un temple au dôme en forme d'ampoule rouge et jaune. Mais la plupart de ses créations sont beaucoup plus complexes. Il crée des images en 3D de robots humanoïdes découpés, imprégnant d'une aura sombre son iconographie personnelle, souvent des bandes-dessinées ou des illustrations de « Charlie et la chocolaterie » de Roald Dahl. Il a notamment protesté contre les dérives commerciales du Street Art en installant un coeur en cage à l'extérieur de la Tate Modern en 2008 à Londres. Son univers, entre Lifestyle, graffiti « dal-van » sur les poubelles londoniennes et toiles très construites, séduit de plus en plus d'amateurs. Son travail est présenté en France pour la première fois.
