Condition Report: Overall excellent condition. The work was examined in the frame. The image depicts the model Franseca Eastwood (Clint Eastwoods daughter) setting fire to the Pony film camera which was produced by Kodak in 6 different versions between 1949 and 1959. The camera had a bakelite body and was adapted in the 1950s to hold 35mm film. Tyler Shields, born in Jacksonville, Florida and heralded as Hollywoods favourite photographer, seems to be commenting on the death of analogue photography, and the tendency in society perhaps to choose immediate gratification over the time consuming labour of craft. (56.5 x 76.2 cm.) Very good condition "Indulgence" is the latest in American photographer Tyler Shields' provocative play with Hollywood luxury and high fashion. For "Hermes", Shields fed a $100,000 Hermes Birkin bag to a crocodile, capturing images of the amphibian with model Ana Mulvoy. The cult-classic purse is fittingly made of blue crocodile skin, its handle clasped between the teeth of the creature who gave it its skin. Executed in 2013, this c-print is from an edition of three. All edges of print visible, not examined out of frame. Apparently in excellent, original condition. Tyler Shields (American, b. 1982) Tyler Shields is a photographer, film director, and writer best known for his images of Hollywood celebrities. A self-taught photographer, he got his start by releasing his images and videos on MySpace, and soon afterward, began doing gallery shows. Known for his controversial and violent images, his photographs capture over-the-top, brutal aspects of contemporary celebrity culture. In addition to his photographs of celebrities, Shields has also shot campaigns for brands like Nike, Adidas, Playboy and Harley Davidson, among others. The artist currently lives and works in Los Angeles, California.

The present print is part of a series that reveals her dressed with a blue-metallic bodysuit and posing with pink Christian Louboutin Barbie pumps in front of a white wall. The picture proves that what has come to expression here may be rated as an incarnation of 'Sex and Drugs and Rock 'n' Roll'. The C-print is in very good condition. The sheet size is 102 x 152 cm. The framed overall dimensions are 108.5 x 159 cm. Tyler Shields (b. 1982) Tyler Shields began his career as a self-taught photographer by posting images on the social platform Myspace.
