Also includes an unfinished study of Columbus landing in America. Two signed and dated "Victor A. Searles 92". Two signed and dated "Victor A. Searles 93". The original works were completed for the World's Fair Columbian Exposition in Chicago in 1893, which celebrated Columbus's arrival in America in 1492.
