      AIMEE SCHWEIG OIL ON BOARD SEATED PORTRAIT WOMAN

      Seated portrait of a woman done in oil on board by Aimee Schweig. Schweig was an early 20th century painter and one of the founders of the St. Genevieve artist colony. Woman is wearing a blue dress and seated in fanning herself in an ornate setting. Painting is described as a self portrait. Measures approximately 25 inches by 15 inches sight, 29 inches by 23 inches framed. Frame has some areas of chipping and paint loss. Painting is in very good condition with beautiful craquelure.
