He paints certain themes, being, as he confessed in an interview, passionate about mystery: "I remain a romantic but mystery is the first thing I pursue." With a spectacular trajectory in the contemporary history of Romanian art, the painter stands out for his impeccable and innovative technique, for his very special ability to cover large surfaces with layers and networks of colored matter. Testimony is the installation, "The endless landscape", from the National Museum of Contemporary Art, a huge canvas (28 x 5 m) made in 2019. As a teacher, he has an important role in what is called the School from Cluj, the artistic and managerial phenomenon within the University of Art and Design from Cluj-Napoca. (MD)
