SAVILLE, JENNY (b. 1970) and GLEN LUCHFORD Closed Contact, 2002. Four dye-bleach prints, each flush-mounted, each 15 3/8 x 11 1/4 inches (391 x 285 mm), each signed, consecutively numbered 'A-D' in ink on the flush-mount verso, and numbered 6 from the edition of 25, housed in the custom box frames prepared by Gagosian Gallery, each engraved with the name of the artist and the series; accompanied by four catalogs from the exhibition Closed Contact: Jenny Saville. Image "A" with some small surface flaws, apparently in the image, perhaps defects in the preparation of the dye transfer print. Provenance: Purchased from Gagosian Gallery, July 16, 2003. Norma Stevens represented Richard Avedon for thirty years, and her husband Martin (d. 2016) was an art and creative director for Revlon and other agencies.
